It was great other than the traffic noise starts at 4:30 AM on the adjacent hiwaywhich was a little challenging to get a decent sleep.
It was just okay. Nothing outstanding. Offers the services & similar highlights of any city that size. The city layout makes it very difficult to get around. Could use more useful street signage in town. Thankful for my GPS.
The day trip we took up to Elkwater/Cypress Hills was wonderful. Very nice relaxing drive.

I recommend this hotel.
I recommend this hotel. Very helpful staff, good warm breakfast, comfortable beds, quiet location, close to restaurants and shopping. Hotel is pet-friendly, and there is no pet surcharge.
We plan to visit Medicine Hat again in the summer. An interesting heritage downtown, with friendly people.

Medicine Hat is a beautiful city.
Medicine Hat is a beautiful city. Easy to get around and has some wonderful old buildings, Medalta pottery is well worth the tour. Shopping is good for a small city. The drive along the river has beautiful old homes and lovely trees.

Didn't get to see much.
Didn't get to see much. Stopped in Medicine Hat instead if Swiff Current because the road we were on didn't have gas stations & we would have ran out of gas & by the time we arrived we were tired

It's very hot there.
It's very hot there. The city has some wonderful places to visit and is central to many more in that area of the province. Lots of shopping and eating out options as well as parks. It's not a large city so easy to get around with the main highway running through it. So many trails in beautiful river settings too!

We were there as my husband was having surgery at the hospital. Hospital was fantastic. Great staff, not super busy. Enjoyed being close to a lovely shopping centre. The downtown of Medicine Hat was very interesting . Lots of historic buildings. Beautiful little parks and flowers. Found one cafe called “Inspire” that was also an art gallery showcasing local artists. Great lunch and coffee place.
The hotel is a dream for any traveler. We were on our trip to Banff and stayed a night here. Super clean. No, extremely clean. New furniture. Beautiful room layout with a kitchenette and a lounge zone. Delicious hot breakfast ( omelette, french toasts, waffles, regular toasts, sausages, eggs, cereals etc.). The pool with the waterslide and a steam room were over and over our expectations. The photos don’t show the real picture. It was our third hotel on the way but definitely the best one.
The hotel was just off the freeway, however in a busy commercial area. It did have a large pool and hotub but the pool was very cold. Granted on a warm sunny day the room may have been warmer but I didn’t feel any heat in the room or pool. The price was right, would only stay passing thru. If you plan to stay in Medicine Hat longer I’d recommend staying somewhere else. If budget is your main concern, the room is clean..ish, the beds were pretty comfy, but the pillows were beat up.
The room was clean and the beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept on. They were short staffed but that did not effect to service or helpfulness just slowed the breakfast process down slightly. They followed advertised COVID protocols which were very important to us. Would recommend to anyone needing a place in Medicine Hat and will stay there again.
All of the little extras provided truly make this place a home away from home. Breakfast was so good with lots of choices. Little gift paks in the room are a very welcoming touch and the handwritten thank you note was so appreciated. This is the only place we will stay in Medicine Hat and we highly recommend it.
For the price, this is probably the best motel we stayed at. The owners are friendly, accommodating. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. Easy access to the highway. We’re repeat customers. When we come to Medicine Hat that’s where we stay. It’s better than any big chain motels.
What a wonderful surprise this little hotel was! The cutest little building in downtown Medicine Hat - and at such a reasonable price! We couldn't believe it. The staff were terrific, helpful and kind to two weary travelers. Thank you so much; we will definitely stay there again.
We went to Medicine Hat for a celebration of life. See photos to what we drove up to. Booking.com offered us a credit but I gave them cash. Booking.com should know where they are sending people. The inside was dark and the lobby filled with cigarette smoke. For over 300 bucks.
Complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise. It was nice that it was hot and not just a cold breakfast. Pet charge was cheaper than any other hotel we have stayed at. Pool was amazing. Having a casino on site was nice. Having a microwave and fridge in the room was nice.
The room was clean and comfortable. We ordered room service the food was good. But we ordered one salad and an extra plate but they gave us two salads.
Easy access off the highway and nice that they had a fully stocked liquor store and dinner options in the hotel.
The hotel was very clean and well kept. The staff was amzing so friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered both hot and cold options and was very good. The fact that it was so close to the trans Canada hwy was a bonus.
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, hot breakfast - after staying at the hotel on two occasions, the front desk staff upgraded our room to a king suite with fireplace, etc. very nice and very unexpected!!
This was once a nice hotel. The furnishings were lovely, although dated. Old but good quality polished wood furnishings, which was a nice change from most hotels these days. It was also quiet in the room.
The lady who checked us in was very efficient and friendly. The location was great. Booking.com gave me a much better rate than the hotel did. The air conditioner worked fairly well in extreme heat.
Breakfast was good. We went early because the hotel was full of families. That helped to make the experience better.
The staff was helpful and working hard.
Value wise this is the best hotel in Medicine Hat. It is simple, clean and quiet. location is ideal if you are considering the downtown restaurants etc
